Luka Dončić struggled for Dallas, scoring just 26 points on 8-of-23 shooting. Christian Wood was the only other Mavericks player to reach double figures, with 14 points.

The Celtics' defense was particularly impressive in Game 2. They held the Mavericks to just 32.5% shooting in the first half and forced 9 turnovers. Dončić, who averaged 34.5 points per game in the regular season, was held to just 12 points on 4-of-12 shooting in the first half.
